Newport, Oregon
We left Victor, Idaho on July 13th and headed to Bend, Oregon. Bend is a beautiful little town in middle Oregon. The weather was warm and the RV park that we stayed in was lovely!!!
I was still having problems with my breathing due to all the pollen in the air in West Yellowstone and the Teton National Parks.
As there was still pollen in the air in Bend we left and once again headed west to the Oregon coast, hoping that the sea air would help clear the pollen from my lungs. We found ourselves once again in Newport Oregon. A lovely town along the coast. The RV park is also beside the marina. The bridge is such a lovely sight with the sun setting in the background. The weather was rather cool, however the main problem was the wind. It was very very windy!!! We did go into town and walk around and have lunch one day. The local seals were once again along the boardwalk. They are always near where the fishing boats come in with their catch (just in case there may be some scraps that find there way into the water).
Next to the RV park is the Rogue Brewing Company. Naturally, we had to have lunch there and sample some of the local brew!!! We always seem to find the best places to stop!
That is all for now, more on the Oregon Coast later.
Love to all,
Candy and Johnny
