Greetings to All;Another year is upon us and the Badger's are already on the move in the RV!!! First of all we bought a new vehicle to tow behind the RV. A Subaru Forester. We traded in the convertible. I love it!!! I did have to remember how to shift once again, but it is like riding a bike, you never forget.
We took off for the west coast of Florida for the annual Spring luncheon for the Retired Northwest Pilots Assoc. I great time was had by all! So many old stories and laughs!!!
We were home for week and then off again to Webster, Fl to meet up with the RV-
Flyers. Another group of Retired Northwest Pilots that all have motor homes. The first night there was a 50's sock hop...with poodle
skirts and all. The guys tried to get their hair into the duck tail once again!!! They wanted to place a pack of cigarettes rolled up in their shirt sleeve....but when they found out how much a pack of cigarettes costs these days they passed.... pilots....
There were 16 coaches together for this rally. It was a great time! We always have lots of stories, drinks and too much great food! All the ladies do such a wonderful job of pitching in and sharing food for the meals... we never go hungry around here!!!!
Some of these folks we will meet up with during the summer travels. There will be a RNPA (Retired Northwest Pilots Assoc) convention this summer in Rapid City, South Dakota. Many of us are planning on attending that this fall.
John has been busy planning our route of travel for the summer. New places and some we have been to before!
