From there we went to the Naval Air Museum that is just south of town. During WWII they built 2 wooden hangers at Tillamook. These hangers were built in 1942 and housed 8 blimps each that were used to patrol the coastline. These hangers were built from woof from around the area because the all the metal at that time was being used for aircraft and tanks. We drove back down to Newport enjoying the beautiful day, although is was a bit windy today. We have been very lucky with the weather, one day is prettier than the last!
Not sure what we have planned for tomorrow, maybe we will take the day off and just rest. The car is making a strange noise so we are going to have that looked at, I hope it is nothing serious.... stay tuned.....
